People Matter
Our Community success is the collective efforts of many great people. We have some of the most hard-working and good-hearted people we know. Our “People Matter” section was created to share with you these neighbors’ stories.
You will read about volunteering, good business practicing, coaching, educating our youth, and many other areas of community dedication by the people we spotlight. We would like to hear from all of you anyone you believe makes a difference as well.
Julie H. Walters is hardworking, energetic, and compassionate, and she has an infectious enthusiasm about her, which, combined with the wealth of leadership experience she’s had over the course of her life, makes her the perfect person to help some of our community’s most vulnerable members.
Brandon started his firefighting career as a volunteer 10 years ago with one of his best friends growing up. He began as a volunteer for the City Fire Department in Lancaster and later transferred to Riverside Fire Department where he continues to be a volunteer to this day.
Leslie has been a nurse for over 20 years. She attended the University of South Carolina where she got her BSN, RN degree. Since then Leslie has gone on to work in many different facilities as a nurse. She is currently the Nurse Manager at Carolina Medical Consultants in Rock Hill. Leslie has been married to her high school sweetheart for 20 years, and has two wonderful children.
