Who We Are
At David Blackwell Law, we are more than just a legal team. We are a group of committed citizens and South Carolina natives who love our communities of Lancaster, Indian Land, Heath Springs, Kershaw, Fort Mill, and the surrounding areas.
We are husbands, wives, parents, grandparents, sisters, and brothers. We are pet owners, sports lovers, and readers. We are also highly respected legal professionals who are ready to help you.
Our team only takes on personal injury matters. Car and truck accidents, falls, medical negligence. Situations where someone else's carelessness changed a family's life. We made the choice to focus on one thing so we get to know it inside and out, and get to know the people who need us most.

David Blackwell
Injury Lawyer
David has spent decades helping people whose lives were changed by serious injuries. He believes every client deserves honesty, thoughtful preparation, and someone willing to take the time to understand their situation.
He's a South Carolina native who believes the law should work for regular people, not just the ones who can afford to make noise. He's tried cases, taken depositions, and represented clients in courtrooms across South Carolina.
Dana Stogner
Legal Assistant
Dana has been the backbone of this office for over fourteen years. She's a Lancaster native who wears more hats than any job title could capture: legal assistant, office manager, and the person who keeps everything and everyone running.
She's also usually the first familiar voice you'll hear when you call. Clients often say Dana feels like family before the first meeting is even over. That's not an accident. It's just who she is.
Linda Blackwell
Community and Operations
Linda spent her career in Lancaster County schools, working as a teacher, middle school assistant principal, elementary principal, and Director of Elementary before retiring and joining the David Blackwell Law team. She brings a lifetime of experience caring for people through hard moments, and she's bringing that same care to every person who walks through our door.
After a lifetime spent serving the Lancaster community through education, she's enjoying the opportunity to continue caring for people in a new way.

Through the David Blackwell Law Foundation, we support coaches and teams, fund educational resources for kids who need them, and partner with nonprofits and organizations doing meaningful work across the region. David also leads community education forums on accident prevention and specialty seminars for civic groups, because an informed community is a safer one.
